November.

By the way, in addition to forwarding your messages to Ann &
Kent, I also post the messages in a secret, password-protected
place on the Internet.  Ann & Kent can read your messages
whenever they get access to the World Wide Web; but the messages
stay private.  I guess Ann & Kent are up to date on reading
messages through November 3, the date of the latest message I've
received for them.

Their next article is expected in the travel section of the
Contra Costa Times and the West County Times on Sunday 16
November.

Hi Phil!  This has got to be quick!  We are in a little town 20
miles north of the Mexican border and 20 miles east of San
Diego.  The name escapes me!  Jachem?  Or something?  It's on Hwy
94, so you can find it!  [That must be Jamul.  -- PLD]

We enter into Mexico tomorrow -- into Tecate for the day and then
west to Ensenada.  We are doing well after having spent a few
days with Kent's Gramps in Escondido.  The riding has been
terrific -- bike lanes and paths almost the whole way -- and
HOT!  But that's the weird thing about this weather.
