Suggestions for finding your lid

• Don't discard your broken lid, because Corning may ask you to return it. Write down any model numbers from its rim.
• Some Corningware lids fit more than one model of Corningware dish. So if Corning says they don't have a lid to fit your dish, try to find another Corningware dish that uses the same size lid that you need. (It worked for me.)
• At this time, I don't know of any online dealers of Corningware retail products. Maybe the customer service representatives at the phone numbers above can suggest a dealer.
• Try the Replacements Ltd. Web site at http://www.replacements.com/ . They specialize in china and flatware but maybe they can help with Corningware lids or patterns. Let me know what you find out.

(This may seem like an unusual bit of trivia to put on a Web page. But I could not find this information on the Web, even at the Corning Web site. Since I first posted this page, http://www.corningware.com/ has begun to provide useful information and contacts, but nothing explicit about replacements.
